Returns
Your satisfaction is our highest priority - plain and simple. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will gladly accept returns of products* within 60 (sixty) days of the sale date and issue a refund for the full purchase price of the products excluding any shipping charges. You only pay for the shipping.
To return any item, simply fill out a short e-mail in the Contact Us section and we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, then you will ship the item(s) back to us along with a copy of your order invoice. Once your return is received, you will receive the refund, along with an email message confirming receipt. Note: Original and/or return shipping fees are non-refundable.
WE DO NOT SHIP ANY PRODUCTS OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES. PERIOD. When shipping, please insure returns to assure that they successfully arrive back to us. We do not accept returns of products that are empty.
*At skinitems.com we are happy to accept returns on all items if they are defective, damaged, or otherwise. We unfortunately cannot accept returns on any Obagi Medical Product™ AFTER THE PLASTIC SEAL HAS BEEN BROKEN. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS. If you have an issue with an unopened Obagi™ product, or you ordered the wrong item, do not worry. We assure you we will do everything possible to correct the problem or issue you may be experiencing.
Refusal or unavailability to accept delivery of package
On seldom occasions we run into an issue where the customer is unavailable or unwilling to accept delivery. Over 98% of our orders are shipped and don’t require a signature upon delivery. However, we occasionally receive orders in the many hundreds of dollars and we must obtain a signature to protect us, and you as a consumer. If this is the case you have several options including signing a release on the back of the delivery slip (if applicable), shipping to a work address, a friend’s house, or simply picking up the parcel from the closest U.P.S. facility after work. U.P.S. will make THREE attempts at delivery before holding the package at their terminal for a week. This allows you ten days to make arrangements to pick up the order. If the order has to be returned to us because it could not be picked up, we will fully refund your order less the amount it cost to have it returned to us, or a 20% restocking fee, whichever is less. PLEASE understand that we want and appreciate your business. On extremely expensive orders which require a signature, we have to work together on order delivery to make sure the items you ordered make it to you with the least amount of difficultly. Thank you.

Exchanges
With prior approval, and within our 60-day return policy guidelines detailed above, exchanges may be made. When any returned items are received, the exchange will be processed. If the new product ordered is more than the return credit, please specify what form of payment you would like to use to satisfy the account balance and complete the exchange. We do not accept exchanges of products that are empty.
Ordering and Payment Options
We currently accept Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, and American Express® cards. In addition, we accept payment via Google Checkout™. Your credit card will be charged by Google™. "GOOGLE * Skinitems.com " will appear by the charge on your credit card statement. If you do not use Google Checkout™, your statement will simply read “Skinitems.com”
Sales Tax
All orders outside of Florida are free of sales tax. Florida residents are charged 6.25% sales tax.
Promotional Codes and Reward Points
Often times, our email newsletter or Affiliate sites may provide a special offer with a promotional code. These promotional codes are used during the checkout process to receive the associated order credit or promotional item for qualifying orders. Promotional codes always have an expiration date, and orders placed after the expiration will not receive the promotional offer. Orders placed prior to the special offer are not eligible for a promotional credit. If you return items purchased using a promotional code and the remaining order no longer meets the code guidelines, the promotional discount will be reversed and cannot be used on a future orders.

Why should I sign up for email newsletters?
We will keep you informed of the latest information on our website including new articles, products and features. We also periodically send out special offers such as "Gift with Purchase" or promotional codes that can be used for discounts on purchases and/or shipping.
